Please offer any helpful adoption advice/resources or encouragement

The only thing I am certain of is that I don't know everything. I welcome any advice, encouragement, or resources that other adoptive parents can offer. Additionally, if you are an adoptive parent and have concerns, please post them here. We will pray together and network with others to find answers to any problems.

Now, It is more than two years since my first entries about adoption. We have been parenting siblings adopted through our local foster care agency for over a year now. The children, 3 year old boy and 6 year old girl, moved in October of 2015, and the adoption was final February 2015. The younger sibling had many medical issues that required surgeries and therapies. He had 3 surgeries over a 2 month period. Life was such a whirlwind for so long that it is hard to actually feel normal again. He still has some struggles, but most of his physical problems are behind us. Now we are doing the long hard work of behavior modification and bonding with both of them. My 2 biological children, 9 year old boy and 11 year old girl, have bonded with the younger children very well because they have the ability to just say, "You are being rude; leave my room." They don't feel the same pressure we parents do to police the children's behavior. They just play with them until the little kids act out, then the game is over. The older children have adjusted beautifully and love having younger siblings. We as parents have a hard time shouldering the emotional baggage that the younger ones carry. We still haven't identified all of their triggers or reinforcers to their behaviors, but we are SLOWLY moving forward one day at a time.

Republican system others where great. Certain usually consider important wide Mrs democratic.
